Rizzlet is an AI keyboard that helps you draft replies. This policy explains what we handle when you use the app, why we handle it, and the choices available to you. It applies to the Rizzlet apps for iOS and Android and the related Rizzlet service.
Information we handle
- Account information. On iOS you sign in with Apple; on Android you sign in with Google. We receive an account identifier from Apple or Google and, if provided, your name and email address. We never receive your Apple or Google password.
- Content you choose to submit. This includes the messages, instructions, and chat screenshots you provide for reply help, along with the tone or style you choose and the suggestions generated for you. Screenshots may contain information about other people; please share them only when you have the right to do so.
- Clipboard. On Android, while the reply-help panel is open, Rizzlet reads text you have copied so it can fill the message box for you. That text stays on your device unless you ask for suggestions, and you can edit or clear it first.
- What you type. Rizzlet does not record or upload what you type with the keyboard. The keyboard reads text in the current field only on your device, to insert and edit a suggestion.
- Purchases. If you buy Rizzlet Plus or another in-app product, we receive transaction and entitlement information from Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) so we can verify and provide the purchase. Apple or Google handles your payment method; we never see your card details.
- Service records. Our servers create limited records needed to deliver requests, protect the service, and diagnose failures. These can include account identifiers, a random install identifier, request times, app version, device model and operating-system version, the name of the app in which you used a suggestion, and technical error information. They do not include the text of your conversations.
- Android analytics. Google Analytics for Firebase collects app interactions, screen views, sessions, purchase events, basic app and device information, performance information such as request duration and error categories, an app-instance identifier, and an advertising identifier when available. Google Analytics also derives approximate location from your device's IP address. We do not send chat text, screenshots, generated replies, or your email address to Analytics.
How we use information
We use account details to sign you in and maintain your access; submitted content to generate and show reply suggestions; purchase information to provide and restore entitlements; and service records to operate, secure, and troubleshoot Rizzlet. We do not use your content for cross-app advertising or sell it to data brokers.
We use Android analytics to understand feature use, diagnose performance problems, and measure the effectiveness of our Google Ads campaigns, including installations and registrations. Advertising personalization is disabled for these Analytics events.
AI and service providers
To produce suggestions, we send the content you submit to Google Cloud Vertex AI. We use Google Cloud to host the Rizzlet backend and private image storage in the United States. Apple provides Sign in with Apple and processes App Store purchases. Google provides Sign in with Google and processes Google Play purchases. These providers process information to provide their services to us, subject to their own terms and safeguards.
On Android, Google provides Analytics for Firebase and the linked Google Ads conversion measurement described above. For more information about Google's handling of this data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and submitted content while your account is active so you can use the service. When you confirm account deletion in the app, we disable access and remove your sign-in credentials and profile details. Submitted messages, screenshots, generated suggestions, and related records are then reviewed and removed by our team manually. This second step is not immediate; contact us if you would like an update on your request.
We may retain limited transaction, accounting, security, and account-closure records when needed for legal obligations, billing disputes, fraud prevention, or to prevent reuse of introductory benefits. We limit access to retained records and remove them when they are no longer needed for those purposes.
Your choices
You choose what text or screenshot to send for each request and can edit or discard a suggestion before sending it. You can manage photo and keyboard permissions in your device settings, and you can switch away from the Rizzlet keyboard at any time. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple Account (App Store) or the Google Play Store app (Google Play). To ask about your information or request account deletion, visit Delete account or contact us using the details below.
Security and international processing
We use access controls and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Because our service uses United States cloud infrastructure, information submitted from other countries may be processed and stored in the United States.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Rizzlet changes. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to joey@ancher.ai or through Rizzlet support.
